At Austwick CE (VA) Primary School, we have a moral responsibility to the growing environmental crisis that affects every aspect of our children's futures. 

We believe that caring for our environment is a vital part of preparing children for the future. By reducing waste, saving energy, and encouraging eco-friendly habits, we aim to protect our planet and inspire our pupils to become responsible global citizens.

Sustainability is woven into our curriculum and daily routines, helping children understand the importance of looking after the world around them. Together, we can make a positive difference—one small step at a time.

We have a dedicated Eco Team of Year 6 children, and our staff are Sustainability Leads. 

We are in the process of developing a Climate Action Plan, outlining specific, measurable steps towards achieving a sustainable, low-carbon future for our school.
